Turkish Eggs with Creamy Yogurt & Butter Sauce

A delicious recipe for Turkish eggs served with creamy yogurt and rich butter sauce, perfect for a hearty breakfast or brunch.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer. Add the eggs and cook for about 6 minutes for soft-boiled eggs.
  2. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the yogurt with minced garlic and a pinch of salt.
  3. In a pan, melt butter and add paprika, stirring until fragrant.
  4. Once the eggs are ready, peel and place them on a plate. Spoon the yogurt mixture around the eggs.
  5. Pour the warm butter sauce over the eggs and yogurt, and garnish with fresh dill.
