  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sage, chopped
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and sage.
  3. Form mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, combine pumpkin puree, chicken broth, cinnamon, and nutmeg over medium heat.
  6. Once heated, add meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
