1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 tablespoon orange zest
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the cold butter and mix until crumbly.
Stir in cranberries and orange zest.
In another bowl, mix heavy cream, egg, and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just moistened.
Turn dough onto a floured surface and form into a circle about 1 inch thick.
