Salmon Balls with Creamy Avocado Sauce

  • 1 pound salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, dill, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. For the sauce, blend the avocado, lime juice, Greek yogurt, and cumin until smooth.
  6. Serve the salmon balls warm with the creamy avocado sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some chili flakes to the mixture.
  • These can also be pan-fried for a crispier texture.
