  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until well blended.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add the remaining eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until creamy.
  5. Pour the pumpkin mixture over the cake layer in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are lightly browned.
  7. Let cool before slicing and serving.
