  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes.
  6. For the frosting, beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
  7. Allow the bread to cool before frosting.
