OUTBACK POTATO SOUP

A rich and creamy potato soup featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  2. Add chopped turkey bacon and chicken ham, cooking until bacon is crispy.
  3. Stir in diced potatoes and coat with the mixture.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Use a potato masher to mash some potatoes for a creamy texture, then stir in heavy cream.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
