Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole

A delicious and hearty breakfast casserole perfect for brunch with a delightful combination of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup diced turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. Layer half of the bread in the bottom of the dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour half of this mixture over the bread.
  5. Add the turkey bacon and chicken ham, then sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
  6. Layer the remaining bread, pour the remaining egg mixture, and top with the rest of the cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter version, you can add powdered sugar on top before serving.
  • Feel free to substitute ingredients based on your preferences.
