  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix lime juice, olive oil, garlic, brown sugar, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off, and place on the grill.
  5. Grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
