  • 1 pound chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese, mozzarella or cheddar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add mushrooms and garlic, sauté until mushrooms are tender.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked mushrooms.
  4. In a baking dish, place the chicken thighs and pour the mushroom cream sauce over them. Top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
