Green Bean Casserole Recipe

A delicious green bean casserole made with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot of boiling water, blanch the green beans for 5 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  5. Add the blanched green beans, chicken ham, and crumbled turkey bacon to the soup mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with French fried onions.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  • Feel free to add cheese for extra flavor.
