  • 8 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon in a large skillet until crispy, then set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bringing to a simmer.
  6. Incorporate beef and cook until browned.
  7. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until well combined.
  8. Season with salt and pepper, then add cooked turkey bacon back to the skillet.
  9. Serve hot over egg noodles or rice.

  • You can substitute beef with chicken for a lighter option.
