Gordon Ramsay Beef Stroganoff

A delicious twist on the classic beef stroganoff featuring turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound beef sirloin
  • 6 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the onions and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Cut the beef sirloin into strips and add to the skillet, browning on all sides.
  5. Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the sour cream until well combined.
  7. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  8. Serve the stroganoff over the noodles and top with the crispy turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
  • Feel free to add more vegetables like peas or bell peppers.
