Gordon Ramsay Beef Stroganoff

A delicious twist on the classic Beef Stroganoff recipe by Gordon Ramsay, using turkey bacon for a healthier option.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pound egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth, bringing to a simmer.
  5. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
  6. Reduce heat, and mix in the sour cream, stirring until well combined.
  7. Chop the crispy bacon and add back to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve over the cooked egg noodles.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, let the sauce simmer longer before adding the sour cream.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like peas or bell peppers for extra flavor.
