  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for topping)
  • 6 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Soak the brioche slices in the mixture for about 15 minutes, ensuring both sides are well coated.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and cook the soaked brioche until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the turkey bacon in another pan until crispy.
  5. Once cooked, sprinkle the top of the French toast with brown sugar and caramelize using a kitchen torch.
  6. Serve the crème brûlée French toast with crispy turkey bacon on the side.
