A delicious creamy pasta bowl loaded with protein, turkey bacon, and colorful veggies.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whole grain pasta
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-fat cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
  4. Add broccoli and bell peppers, cooking until tender.
  5. Stir in cream cheese, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning until combined.
  6. Add cooked pasta and crumbled bacon, tossing until coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or zucchini.
  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes.
