Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add diced potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Blend soup until smooth, then stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  5. Top with crispy turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon and use vegetable broth.
  • Add a sprinkle of cheese on top for extra flavor.
