  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 36 chocolate kisses

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until combined.
  5. Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden.
  7. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter.
  • These cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months.
