  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla, and mix well.
  6. Lastly, add the flour and stir until just combined.
  7. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon over the batter.
  9. Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon.
  10. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let it cool before slicing.
