Chocolate Pistachio Tart with Ganache

  • 1 ½ cups pistachio crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup shelled pistachios, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine pistachio crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Press the mixture into a tart pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. In a saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream, stirring until smooth.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted and creamy.
  6. Pour the ganache into the cooled crust and let it set at room temperature.
  7. Once set, garnish with chopped pistachios before serving.
