  • 1 loaf challah bread
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. Cube the challah bread and place it in the baking dish.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure they are all soaked.
  6. Add the mixed berries on top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, substitute half of the milk with heavy cream.
