A delicious and crunchy Asian slaw that pairs perfectly with various dishes.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrots, green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss to combine.
  4. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
